Fiona + Havind | Wedding

Fiona and Havind were married in a small and intimate wedding at Sidney Pier Hotel & Spa. I met Fiona for the first time but it felt like we had known each other for a long time, chatting and joking away. I loved the moment when Sahjun hugged his dad right after the ceremony. Although it was raining earlier that day, the weather cleared up just in time for us to take some pictures around the harbour. Doesn’t Fiona look fabulous in her red dress!

Joanne + Michael | Wedding

Joanne and Michael, what an adorable couple! One of my highlights of the day was the whirlwind stop the gang made – in full wedding regalia – at the Beacon Drive-in down by the water. It’s never busy for burgers and milkshakes! And it was a wonderful experience to see them surrounded by loving friends and family. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when they gave their wonderful speeches. Wishing them a future full of more of the same – laughter and tears of joy.

Ruby and Marlowe are the nieces of Kelcey and Joe whom I had the pleasure of photographing at their wedding. This family session was taken the morning after the wedding at a local park in Whistler. They were so energetic I could barely keep up with them. But what a hoot photographing these kids! I had so much fun I barely felt the effects of the wedding-marathon the night before

Kelcey + Joe | Wedding

Just came back from taking wedding pictures of another amazing couple, Kelcey and Joe. They’re warm, easy going and have a fabulous sense of humour together. I swear I heard some of the funniest jokes that day.

The wedding was at Nita Lake Lodge, a fantastic venue in Whistler, BC. The day was a bit chilly and wet but nothing could dampen the party of this vibrant and loving couple.

As an aside, the bridal party’s “green room” was gorgeous. It has its own elevator and connected to an overhead walkway.

Congratulations Kelcey and Joe! Thank you so much for letting me to share this special day with you!

Kelcey + Joe | Engagement

Prior to the engagement session, the weather was pretty unpredictable. Vancouver was just blanketed with snow the day before but we decided to do the photos anyway. Kelcey and Joe are such a fun couple. A little bit or rain and wind didn’t stop them from having a good time exploring Granville Island. I am certainly looking forward to take their wedding pictures in May !
